Soccer
- Bullock Creek (9) – Standish-Sterling Central (1) – The Lancers will play Gladwin in the District 44 semi-final at Gladwin High School on 10/17 at 5:00 p.m.
- Swan Valley (7) – Birch Run (0) – Swan Valley will play Frankenmuth in the District 42 semi-final on 10/16 at 5:00 p.m. at a site still to be determined. The Vikings beat the Eagles twice in league play this season by the scores of 3-1 and 6-3.

- Freeland (6) – Pinconning (0) – The Falcons will now play the winner of Ogemaw Heights and Garber in the District 44 semi-final. The date and time is yet to be determined.

Girls Golf
Alma hosted the MHSAA Region 16 at Pine River Country Club.
The Goodrich Martians finished as Regional Champs shooting 347. The Freeland Falcons (378) and Flint Powers Catholic (379) also qualified for the State Finals.
Individually, Freeland’s Averie Pumford was a Regional Medalist carding a 77. Goodrich’s Madilyn Sheerin (78) and Sanora Kochan (81) finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Flint Powers’ Lillie-Ann Jacobs (83) was 4th. Frankenmuth’s Anna Billot (88) and Lake Fenton’s Laure Bell (88) tied for 5th. Lake Fenton’s Katie Bell (90) birdied the second playoff hole to grab the last individual qualifying spot nudging out Frankenmuth’s Kennedy Crandall as both girls tied for 7th. Alma’s Ava Vogt (92) and Goodrich’s Brooklyn Webb (92) rounded out the top 10.
These girls will compete in the MHSAA Division 3 State Finals at The Meadows on the Campus of Grand Valley State University Next Friday and Saturday.
